• Using the Action, Superpowers, Feelings, Human Traits, Pain Points and Brand Value decks from Brand-in-a-Box, build a roadmap of significant actions taken, milestones achieved, emotions felt, challenges and lessons learned.  Take a photo and reflect.

Construct a Future Vision

• Build a LEGO model that represents your roadmap and vision for the future. Include elements that symbolize your goals as markers on the roadmap, aspirations along the way, and the road you envision for personal and professional growth on your way to building success.

• Using the Actions deck from Brand-in-a-Box select the action word for next year – what key action will you undertake throughout the year?

Use LEGO Minifigures for Self-Expression

• Personalise LEGO minifigures to represent different aspects of yourself, your achievements, and your goals. Arrange them in scenes that tell a story about your journey.  Incorporate Coaching Cards from Brand-in-a-Box to bring the story to life with words.  Take a photo to capture this moment.

Build a Reflection Space

• Create a miniature space that serves as your dedicated reflection zone. This could be a cozy corner or a tranquil environment where you can unwind and think.  In this space place a large bowl of LEGO, Brand-in-a-Box, a large jar, coloured paper, a blank journal and a pencil case with your favourite pens, markers, and pencils. Set yourself up for next year with your reflection space.

Metaphor Building

• Use LEGO to build metaphors for your experiences. For instance, constructing a bridge can symbolize overcoming challenges, while a tower may represent personal growth. Consider the sights you will see on your roadmap for building success.

• Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can focus on reflection without distractions. Create an atmosphere that promotes relaxation and creativity.

Set Realistic Goals

• Break down your reflection into manageable goals. Use the Actions Deck from Brand-in-a-Box to select 4 goals for next year. One goal for each quarter. Reflecting on one aspect at a time provides for a more in-depth exploration of each area of your life. This will help you to build 4 realistic goals for next year.

Combine Reflection with Mindfulness

• Practice mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing or meditation, alongside your reflection activities. This enhances self-awareness and encourages a calm and focused mindset.

Celebrate Small Wins

• Take time to acknowledge even the smallest achievements. Celebrating the positives helps you with creating a sense of gratitude, improves your overall positiveness and motivates you to continue your journey towards success.

• Gather a large jar place it in your reflection place, and beside it place colourful paper and markers.  Every time you have a small win write in on the paper and place it in the jar.  At the end of the year open the jar and read all of your small wins when undertaking your reflection. This is a great reminder of all your previous wins and the successes you have encountered. We often forget the wins and focus on our losses or our near misses. Having a jar filled with your wins to reflect on and to remember helps to put you in a great frame of mind as you focus on the year ahead and what you hope to achieve.

Express Yourself Creatively

• Whether through LEGO, Brand-in-a-Box, writing, drawing or other creative outlets, express your thoughts and emotions in a way that feels authentic to you. Creativity sparks new perspectives and ideas.
